I am occasionally offered free goods and/or money in exchange for an honest review. Some bloggers would have you think that makes me a sell-out. So. Not. So. I am ALWAYS honest in my reviews. And I will always make it perfectly clear that I’m being somehow compensated for my review. I will tag it as “sponsored content” and will tell you upfront. No games. If I am sent something I really do not like/enjoy/approve of/whatever, I return said item (or money) with a personal note explaining why I cannot do the review.
Look. It’s simple really. I have triplets. I’m not rich. Free stuff and money? Oh yes. I’ll take it. But I will NEVER abuse your trust. I am fully aware that you are expecting me to tell the truth around here. You have my promise. If I say I love a product, I love it. If I like but don’t love an item I’m asked to review, I’ll tell you that, too. I’ll tell you what’s great about it and what could be improved.
