The View from Here

The sunshine returned! It was so beautiful outside, so I hobbled out with my trusty walker and propped myself ever-so-carefully in a lovely white wicker chair on my parents’ front porch.

Ahh…

{OK, so I could probably use a fresh coat of “Over the Taupe” on my toes. Wonder if hubby would be able to make that happen since I can’t bend my leg? Hmmm.}

The kidlets were THRILLED to finally get outside again after being stuck inside for a whole rainy week. Pop brilliantly put them to work helping him with some yard work. Cute, huh?

I’ve been so bored and down-in-the-dumps this week. The time spent breathing the fresh air and the sweet, sweet visits I had from some incredibly precious friends today really cheered me up.

I am broken, but I am blessed.
