CD Review: Sex and the City 2 Soundtrack

by Monica on June 12, 2010

I know nothing about the movie, but the soundtrack for Sex and the City 2 is a big old blast of fun! A big THANK YOU to One2One Network for providing me with a CD to review. As always, you can know that these opinions are my very own.

The soundtrack  features a brand-new duet “Love is Your Color” by Grammy and  Academy Award® winner Jennifer Hudson, along with global superstar, multi-platinum recording artist and three-time Grammy Award nominee Leona Lewis. 12-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys performs her own extraordinary new version of the Blondie classic “Rapture”. Grammy, Emmy, Golden Globe, Tony and Academy Award® winner Liza Minnelli covers Beyonce’s chart-topper “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).”

But my favorite (because I’m geeky sucker for mens’ choirs) are the tracks featuring the Sex and the City Men’s Choir. Seriously, they sound amazing. I’d buy the soundtrack just for them. Well, that and hearing “the girls” singing Helen Reddy hit “I am Woman.” Pretty cool indeed.

1. Alicia Keys “Rapture”
2. Dido “Everything to Lose”
