Yeah, I bookmarked that post from Simple Mom! Now I just need to go back and start putting those tips into practice. We recycle a lot and our recycling bin is always filled with paper but I look around and there's still more paper cluttering my home!

Good luck on your quest! I'm right there with you :)

I haven't clicked over yet, but I am going to. One thing that I do and have seen talked about is not to save every last thing the kids bring home from school. Instead, photograph it. In 20 years or more when the peapod squad is sifting through stuff they won't want a huge paper mache cat, but a photo of one would be cool. (not that your kids have made paper mache cats or anything...LOL)

LOL, paper has *always* been a problem at my house...comes from being a professional student. And then, I married a PhD student, which equals paper problem squared. Now, three years post-my leaving school and two years post-his graduation, I *think* we have a handle on the paper (at least until I go back to school!). All things academic have been put away or shredded and/or recycled. Junk mail? Automatic shred/recycle. Important papers? We have an extensive basket/box system...every room in the house has at least one with an amazing organizational system, ie, they're crammed full and I couldn't tell ya what's where. So, good luck with your paper problem! It's a curse!
