I’ve wanted to participate in a 365 Photos project for a while now, but I didn’t want to be one of those people who commits and then doesn’t follow through.
I have committed. I’m only on day 10, but I’m loving it. It’s not complicated. Just literally one-picture-per-day. I can’t wait to look back over the year’s worth of photos to see how I’ve grown as a photographer. I also think it will be fun to look back and see what things were significant to me throughout the year. A photo journal of sorts.

I started out posting each picture as a blog entry, but I’ve decided that takes too much space and may begin to annoy readers who aren’t the slightest bit interested in seeing what I took a picture of on any given day. I now have a spot in the sidebar for the picture du jour. If you click that picture, you can see/comment on all the pictures from the 365 photos set. Or…you can ignore the pictures altogether. The choice is yours.
If you also want to participate in a 365 Photos project, go for it! You don’t need anything fancy (well, other than a digital camera and a flickr account).
