Awww...how sweet! You're back again! Hope you enjoy your visit with the Peapod Squad!
Polly Panda. The peapod squad may not have a stellar attendance record for pre-k thusfar, but they are learning like crazy! One of the wonderful things they do is something called Animated Literacy. This week, they’ve been talking about Polly Panda. Pp. They’ve learned songs about her painting purple p’s on pizzas and porcupines. They walk around the house whispering “p-p-p-p” sounds.
The Plague. Snap missed Monday. All of them missed Tuesday. Sweet Pea has been out Wednesday and today and will also be home tomorrow. But we’re trying our hardest to keep up so they’re where they should be when their immune systems decide to kick-in.
Promises. Not knowing, of course, that Sweet Pea would still be sick at this point, I promised them that I would make a panda cake to bring to their class tomorrow. It’s a promise I simply must keep. So, after they all went to bed tonight…I made a panda cake. And because I know Sweet Pea is going to be heartbroken to miss out on the “p” fun, I made cupcakes for the two of us to decorate together tomorrow.
Now, if we could just pulverize these nasty germs! That would be positively perfect!
