Sing a song from the year you were born. I always love this one because it offers some variety.
There were some OK performances, some good performances and a couple of great performances tonight. None of that seemed to matter, however, once Adam Lambert sang "Mad World." It was, in a word, BRILLIANT.
I was not a huge fan in the beginning. There is absolutely no denying, though, that this guy deserves to win. He is phenomenally gifted. See for yourself. Here's a video of Adam singing "Mad World" on tonight's show.

okay… haven’t really had time to watch this season BUT a HUGE thank you because after that performance I will definitely be tuning in from now on!!!! AMAZING!!!!!
