A love that knows neither passage of time nor distance.

Welcome! I'm so glad you dropped by! Make yourself at HOME. If this is your first visit, you may want to SUBSCRIBE to Peapod Squad Stuff so you don't miss any of the fun. Thanks! Y'all come back now, you hear?

When the peapod squad was still making a home of my now-stretched-beyond-belief belly, we moved 500 miles to a town where we knew no one. The first church we visited proved to be the greatest thing to ever happen to us. The kindness shown to us there was astounding. Never have I seen or felt such a spirit of servanthood.

"Aunt Anne" assembled an army of angels. We called them the "church nannies." These women gave of their time, their love, their very hearts to help us stay afloat during that first crazy year with triplets. They became my other very special family. A few of them grew especially close to the kids and to us and have continued to visit us since we moved another 500 miles away from there. Two of those women and their husbands were here recently for a spoiling-fest with the peapod squad. I sat in awe and watched them interacting with my precious children…these little people they've loved since before they could see them with their own eyes or hold them in their own arms. A love so great that neither miles nor years can interfere.

What a wonderful tribute. People really can come together to help. I’ll bet they enjoyed themselves too.
