Awww...how sweet! You're back again! Hope you enjoy your visit with the Peapod Squad!
{Just so you all know…this is not a paid post. This is aaaaallll me.}
I am a bit of a sucker for those TV infomercial things (yeah, it’s embarrassing but liberating to put it out there). You know the ones. Come on…admit it…you’ve considered buying something from Billy Mays. Anyone with kids has at some point thought they couldn’t live without a jumbo pack of Zorbeez. I know I’ve had my eye on the Hercules Hook and those very cool Debby Myers Green Bags for some time now.
I ran in the drugstore Monday morning after going to the gym. Guess what I saw? An entire "As Seen on TV" display. I was salivating! After thinking and thinking and thinking (I do a lot of things in three’s nowadays), I went with the Tweeze. My facial hair is blond but it still bothers me that I have so much of it. I have very sensitive skin, though, so those chemical lotions are out of the question for me. Hot wax? Too much trouble to do myself, and I’m too cheap to pay someone else to do it. The Tweeze promised to pull even the shortest, finest hairs out at the root…to give me soft and silky skin for weeks…ALL WITHOUT PAIN. Really? Says who? Says a certain Karla Guinn. If you check out the "testimonials" section of the Tweeze site (funny thing is…Karla’s testimonial is the ONLY one), you can read her glowing recommendation for this product. "It is so quick and easy and painless to use to remove the unwanted hair." That’s what Karla says. I’m wondering if she truly used the doggone thing. It is not painless. Indeed it is very painful. And so half of my face is sort of smooth and the other half is furry. I’m trying to get up the nerve (and pain threshold) to finish the job.
