Awww...how sweet! You're back again! Hope you enjoy your visit with the Peapod Squad!
I am SOOOOOO ready to have the peapod squad fully potty-trained. This has been going on for months and I’m about to lose my mind. We now resort to bribery. If one of them actually uses the potty, he/she gets a "special treat" (M&M) and a sticker on the potty chart. A certain # of stickers gives them a shopping trip to the toy department of Wal-Mart. You would think this would be pretty significant incentive, right? Wrong. Oh. So. Wrong. Anyway…I digress.
Yesterday morning found Split and Sweet sitting on their potties (we have a row of three in their bathroom…directly facing the "gome up" potty). There they were side-by-side. Sounds perfect. Nope. They both had their pajamas still on. They were not pee-peeing. No. They were feasting. Sweet had managed to break through the "child-proof" drawer lock to get to the bag of M&M’s. There they were…chowing down. I knew something was up because I heard them whispering "special tweat for you?" to one another.
Fast forward to last night. Split needed to "pee-pee potty" so off he goes. He sits in there FOREVER, pretending to read a book about lions. I heard a lot of roaring. Suddenly I hear, "Mommy! I did it new!" Huh? New? This I’ve gotta’ see.
Split: Yook! I do yellow AND geen pee-pee.
Me: What on earth?!?!?!
Yep. Sure enough. The pee-pee is mostly yellow with a streak of green where a tiny piece of blue M&M appears to have fallen into the potty chair from their gluttonous escapades yesterday morning.
And then…
Split: I get 2 special treats for yellow and geen pee-pee Mommy?
Me: Sure…whatever.

Totally sounds like something my three year old would say..LOL
Dang, they are SMART… LOL!
Hilarious! Those kids sure are smart. It’s funny how they can think up stuff like that. I can’t wait for my son (12mo now) to do silly things like that.
hmmm not a bad idea. maybe take some tissue paper the “bleeds” and toss a little square in the potty. when the pee hits and makes it change colors it will be a fun surprise.
your kids are brilliant!
LOL … That’s something mine would do!! We just do stickers, but it’s so not working. I’m gonna try the M&M’s now
Green & Red pee! Here we come!!
